Our Founding Story
Apostolic Book Publishing began in the early 1970s as a burden born in the heart of Rev. Paul Dugas, a seasoned Pentecostal pastor and World War II veteran. Having witnessed the spiritual decline of modern Christianity and the erosion of holiness standards, Rev. Dugas was moved by the Holy Ghost to preserve and publish Apostolic doctrine—untainted, uncompromising, and rooted in the Acts 2:38 message of salvation.
He believed that the true church must remain separate from the world and grounded in the revelation of the mighty God in Christ. This was more than just a publishing effort—it was a spiritual war cry against lukewarmness, worldliness, and theological confusion.
Recognizing the need for faithful hands to help shape and steward this ministry, Rev. Dugas was joined by Dennis D. McCreery, a humble and anointed teacher, editor, and servant of God. Brother McCreery brought years of experience in writing, editing, and rightly dividing the Word of truth. He would serve faithfully as Editor-in-Chief of Apostolic Book Publishing for over 40 years—personally laboring over every manuscript, every tract, every book, with prayerful care and doctrinal clarity.
Brother McCreery was known for his attention to detail, his deep love for the saints, and his reverence for the things of God. Customers and ministers alike would often seek his counsel, trusting his ability to preserve rare truths and revive powerful teachings through the printed word. He worked in obscurity, never seeking fame, but impacting thousands through the written ministry.
Together, Rev. Dugas and Brother McCreery laid the foundation for a publishing ministry that would serve as a lifeline to hungry believers and pastors around the world. They offered a platform for Apostolic voices who might otherwise be forgotten—authors who preached holiness, baptism in Jesus' name, the infilling of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues, and separation from worldly entertainment, jewelry, and compromise.
Their vision wasn't flashy—but it was faithful.
Today, 4ThePeople Ministries carries that same torch. As a rebranded and revitalized extension of Apostolic Book Publishing, we continue the original mission: to preserve Apostolic doctrine, equip believers with sound teaching, and stir up revival through powerful preaching and Christ-centered resources. But now we reach not only through print, but through digital sermons, online bookstores, patriotic apparel, and Holy Ghost–filled media for a generation in need of truth and boldness.
4ThePeople Ministries is a nonprofit Apostolic Christian ministry dedicated to transforming lives and communities through the power of biblical truth and unwavering American patriotism. Our mission is to preserve and promote the full Apostolic message of salvation through Jesus Christ—baptism in His name, Holy Ghost infilling, and holy living—while boldly defending the foundational values upon which this nation was built.
We offer an expanding collection of Apostolic books, sermon MP3s, and spiritually rooted merchandise designed to teach, inspire, and equip believers of all ages. Every resource we distribute supports our greater outreach mission: to awaken the backslider, ground the new convert, and strengthen the church in truth, power, and unity.
Through this work, we stand as both a spiritual lighthouse and a cultural resistance—calling America back to righteousness, and the church back to the apostles’ doctrine.
Our vision is to ignite a nationwide Holy Ghost revival and see America return to her spiritual roots—founded on liberty, guided by truth, and filled with the fear of the Lord.
We envision a movement of believers who are not ashamed of the name of Jesus, who walk in apostolic power, and who stand boldly for truth in a time of compromise. We see churches equipped, saints revived, families restored, and communities transformed—not by politics or programs, but by the preaching of the Word, the fire of the Holy Ghost, and the grace of God poured out in full measure.
We believe revival is not a memory—it is our future. And as long as there is breath in our lungs and freedom in our land, we will publish, proclaim, and press on until the whole world knows:
There is One Lord, One Faith, and One Baptism.
